Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Archita Shudhi Gulab Jamun Mix
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup curd (yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (optional)
  • Chopped nuts for garnish (almonds, pistachios)

For Sugar Syrup (Optional but Delicious):

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2-3 cardamom pods
  • A few strands of saffron (optional)
  • Rose water (a few drops)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a cake tin and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk curd and sugar until smooth. Add oil and milk, mix well.
  3. Sift in Archita Shudhi Gulab Jamun Mix, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cardamom powder.
  4. Gently fold to make a smooth batter. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour into the cake tin and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While the cake bakes, prepare the sugar syrup: boil all syrup ingredients together for 5–6 minutes until slightly thick.
  7. Once the cake is baked and slightly cooled, poke holes on top and drizzle warm syrup over it to soak in the flavors.
  8. Garnish with chopped nuts.

Serving Tip:

Serve warm or chilled with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with condensed milk for an extra indulgence!
