Archita Shudhi Gulab Jamun Powder Mix Recipe
- Take 100 gm of Archita Shudhi Gulab Jamun mix in a bowl and add 40ml of water to it. Mix and knead gently to form a smooth dough. Let it rest for 5-10 mins in a container closed with a damp cloth. Mix the dough again for 1-2 mins. Grease your palms with oil/ ghee and gently shape the dough into small round-shaped balls. (Make sure that the dough isn’t too wet and the balls do not have any cracks)
- Heat ghee/oil in a pan, turn gas on a high flame. Once heated, lower the flame. To check if the ghee/oil is heated properly, check by putting a small ball into it. Deep fry the balls in oil/ ghee over low to medium flame till golden brown.
- Soak the fried Gulab Jamun directly in warm sugar syrup (make sure the syrup isn’t too hot.) Let it rest for at least 40 mins so that the Jamuns absorb the syrup properly.
- Serve hot or cold as per preference.
- For Sugar Syrup: Dissolve 200-300 gm of sugar in 180-200 ml of water in a pan. Boil it on a medium flame till it gets thick. (Make sure the syrup doesn’t get too thick)
