Vada Pav is one of the famous Mumbai street food and most favourite roadside snack.
Vada pav recipe, own desi Indian burger is a sandwich in which spicy batata vada with chilli garlic chutney is sandwiched in the famous Mumbai pav. Today I prepared it in a different way using Maggi masala e magic which makes ulta vada pav more delicious..

Recipe –
Ingredients –
For vada –
*2 medium size potatoes
*3 pods chopped garlic
*1 tbsp chopped ginger
*1 packet Maggi masala e magic
*3 tbsp chopped green chillies
*2 tbsp oil
*1 tsp mustard seeds
*Pinch of asafoetida
*Few curry leaves
*1/4 tsp turmeric powder
*1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
*Salt as per taste
*1/4 tsp cumin powder
*1/4 tsp mango powder
*4 bread
*4 cheese slices
For batter-
*1 cup besan or gram flour
*1/4 tsp turmeric powder
*1 tsp oil
*1 tsp lemon juice
*1/4 tsp red chilly powder
*Water as required
*Oil for frying
*Few fried green chillies
For vada pav chutney –
*1 tbsp oil
*4 garlic cloves
*1/4 cup peanut
*3tsp Maggi masala e magic
*1/4 cup fried besan batter crumbs
*1 tsp red chilly powder
*2 tbsp dried shredded coconut
*1/4 tsp sesame seeds
*Salt to taste
For green chutney –
*1 cup coriander leaves
*1 cup mint leaves
*1 green chillies
*Salt as per taste
*1 tbsp lemon juice
Method –
For vada mixture –
Heat a kadai add oil when the oil is hot add mustard seeds,asafoetida,curry leaves,ginger,garlic,green chillies finely chopped then add the maggi masala e magic masalas then add the potatoes mix it well then add salt ,coriander leaves mix it properly once done turn off the flame keep it aside..
For batter –
In a mixing bowl add besan or gram flour then add turmeric powder,oil ,salt red chilly powder mix it then slowly add water then batter should be little thick smooth pouring consistency then add lemon juice mix it ..
Now take a bread trim the edges divide it into two pieces then take one part of the bread spread green chutney and on the other spread garlic chutney put 1 slice of cheese insert one stick then put one bread slice on it , now put the prepared masala in it then deep it into the besan batter then deep fry in hot oil until golden brown in colour
Now for vada pav chutney
Heat oil add garlic cloves,peanuts,Maggi masala e magic , coconuts fry them well then add fried besan batter crumbs ,sesame seeds red chilly powder salt as per taste mix it well once done cool it down completely then transfer it to a grinder and make a coarse mixture..
For green chutney
In a grinder add coriander leaves,mint leaves,green chillies,lemon juice ,salt grind it into paste…
